Providing Families and Executors Professional Administrative Support
Perhaps your loved one is still with us, and you want to begin preparing for the administrative tasks that will come later.
Or maybe your loved one has passed, and you are struggling with how to begin to settle their estate while grieving during a difficult time.
Either way, if you have been chosen to administer a loved one's estate, you are probably feeling overwhelmed by the administrative responsibilities! You need administrative guidance.
Here's my Story
Hello. My name is Jean-Marie Milford, and I spent a career in healthcare administration, where organization, documentation, coordination, and attention to detail were critical every day. I have also worked in healthcare consulting in areas which require a similar level of meticulousness.
But it was after the loss of my mother, as her estate's executor, that I truly understood how overwhelming the administrative side of death can be. I spent months coordinating and completing administrative tasks with multiple family members, attorneys, accountants, financial institutions, insurance companies, and service providers, managing paperwork, deadlines, notifications, and countless unexpected deliverables. Even with my professional background in healthcare consulting, the process was emotionally and mentally exhausting. But through diligence and strong administrative organization, I was able to successfully settle my mom's estate.
Having personally served as an estate executor, I understand the administrative burden families face—from notifying federal agencies and gathering financial records to coordinating with attorneys and accountants. This experience inspired me to build EstateMindr, to provide the estate administrative guidance I wish I'd had.
I realize many families are left trying to navigate administrative responsibilities and complicated family dynamics while grieving—often without enough guidance or organizational support. I created this service to help families stay organized, reduce stress, and feel less alone during the estate settlement process.
I bring calm to chaos.
I assist families, executors, and trustees in staying organized by working side-by-side to identify and meet estate administrative needs. My services extend beyond traditional estate support, incorporating elements of healthcare consulting, as I ensure compliance with necessary administrative tasks and processes.
I deliver comprehensive administrative support and estate settlement concierge services, providing organization, coordination, accountability, and time savings for a smoother, stress-free process.
I work with you to prepare in advance of a loved one's passing and subsequently offer guidance after the loss, navigating the administrative coordination necessary for settling an estate.
